Sledding

This was our first sledding trip since Isaac was about 2 1/2.  At that age he did not like it at all.  In fact he only sat down in the sled and then said," I go home."

This time we were on the hills for a couple of hours.  I can't believe how well he climbed right back up, no whinning about carrying his sled.  He kept asking to go to bigger hills.  Addy LOVED it too as long as her Daddy went with her.

I hope we get a few more nice warm days this winter like this past Saturday so the kids can enjoy the snow some more.  They built a snowman too in the yard...Isaac got a lot of things off his list this past Saturday which is a good thing since we got the flu that night :(

Of course he named him Frosty

He carried that sled back up no problem.

Addy saw me giving Isaac the thumbs up sign a lot so she started doing it too!

Choo Choo Bob Trainfest

We are pretty much choo choo Bob groupies.  We go where ever there is a live performance and our kids LOVE it.  This past weekend we were at the Rivercenter in St Paul for the Choo Choo Trainfest.  We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Miller with us, and not sure who had more fun.  Grandpa was in Heaven amongst all the trains, and train vendors.  The kids were in Heaven with all the train activities and of course live concert from the choo choo Bob band.  Great morning had by all.

The whole gang was there to greet us when we walked in the door.

Holiday Fun

The holiday season is over...and I have decided I LOVE the entire season as a whole.  Even the craze and stress at the end to get everything done.  I have also decided that I love the season as a whole more than I enjoy the last two days.  Weird, I am not sure.  I am sure this will change as my children age.  The excitement in their faces is great don't get me wrong.  It is the craze in general of those two days I could live without.  I hope I am not alone in saying my kids were NUTS!  SO nuts that by the end it was just simple too hard to enjoy.

I have shared a few of our holiday ventures already...but I thought I would take this opportunity to review and share some of our Christmas with you. Get ready for picture overload.  I hope you all enjoyed this season.  Young and old it is always a fun time of year.  Blessings to you all for a very happy and healthy 2014!
