Thanksgiving Day

This year we had thanksgiving X's 2 with breakfast and dinner turkey.  We made breakfast this year for the Miller side, complete with blueberry french toast, oatmeal waffles, and various forms of turkey sausage.  It was a lot of fun and of course the highlight for Isaac was seeing his uncle AJ's puppy at his house!!   After breakfast we packed up and headed to Nana and Papa's for the rest of the day.  Here the highlight was Nana's pumpkin pie, I LOVE Nana's pumpkin pie.  NOTHING is better!  Enjoy the pics!

Happy Birthday Isaac!!

Isaac is now three!!!!!!  We had a Lightening McQueen party to celebrate and of course the cake was his favorite part!!  He loved seeing all of his family, and presents but nothing compares to how happy he was when he saw his cake.  So cute :)  Isaac has also developed a love for toy trains and so we got him a train table for his birthday.  On his actual birthday he spent ALL day playing with them.  The track is much harder to put together than we ever thought but he doesn't care that it isn't perfect he spends hours downstairs playing trains.  He just loves it!!  & well let's be honest I love them because they keep his attention for more than 2 minutes.  Pictures in this post are not in order, but Addy is not allowing me to do anymore and I really wanted to get this up.  You are all smart and I am sure you can figure out what is happening at the b-day party.

Pumpkin cookies

It is no secret that Isaac loves cookies and cake.  He takes after his mom in that respect.  So last sunday I decided to do a special project with Isaac, where he would get to make his own pumpkin cookies.  He LOVED it!!!  I remember as a kid making cookies with my mom and Grandma and how special it was and how Emily and looked forward to it every Holiday season.  I hope to pass down some of these traditions to my kids.  It was a great family afternoon and Seth and Addy got into the fun as well.  You will see Seth's creation of pumpkin man cookie...why he can't just stick to the task at hand is anyone's guess.
Trying to get some of the flour off

yikes he said!

so excited!!

Again...a little too much flour

all smiles...I think she sat in that chair close to two hours watching this whole process.

About half way through Isaac had to be spiderman for the rest of the baking!

Fall Ball

Every year at Isaac's school they have a fall ball.  The kids can wear their costumes, do art projects, play games, and play in the gym.  Lots of fun for the little kids and of course Isaac LOVED it.  Addy even got in on the fun a little and played the snack walk (cake walk) and helped Daddy paint a pumpkin.  Our little spiderman and Flower had a great evening.
