Puppet Wagon lives on!

As a kid I remember my mom taking my sister and I to the park for the puppet wagon in the summer.  For those who are not familiar it was a truck that would drive to various parks and give a little puppet show.  You knew this was still in existence.  I just found out the other day and decided to take Isaac and Addy for their first puppet show this week.  Although the truck is newer and it looked like new puppets as well the same general idea still draws a crowd and is a hit with the kids.  We hope to go back again so there are only a few shows left for the summer.  Isaac really enjoyed it and after he got to play at the park with other kids.  The highlight of the day and a few days later he is still talking about it and asking to see the puppets and play park with kids.

Tired little boy

I am sure many of you can remember the Isaac that NEVER slept!  Well...He is trying to make a comeback and I am trying to keep it from happening.  Lately, he has been having a little trouble sleeping.  The falling asleep part is soooooo hard on him lately for both his naps and bedtime.  Not quite sure what is going on but we are on a whole new schedule it seems.  I am blaming summer and the time the sun goes down, since he wants to be outside all the time.  But it is a late bedtime and then getting up later in the morning which results in hardly any nap.  I don't like it at all but what do you do.  So this past sunday things were a little hectic and so we decided just to keep him up with no nap.  Well....That didn't work either.  By 6 o'clock he was passed out on the couch or half on the couch from being so tired!  This just proves that he still needs a nap and so does his mommy!!

Couldn't even make it all the way on the couch before falling asleep

Tummy Time

Without a doubt Addy is far better at tummy time than Isaac ever was.  He used to just scream and she loves it!  Could it be because she has such a great big brother to coach her and give her lots of attention and praise while exercising?!  Isaac loves it when Addy goes on her tummy and usually He tells her several times while laying by her side, "good job, baby good job."  So cute!

Good job baby, good job!

so tired, rubbing her little eyes

After rubbing her eyes so much this is what happens

You can hardly tell but she was pushing back on her feet as to get closer to Isaac!

3 Months already

3 months to the day

all dressed up for dinner with the family

It is hard to believe that my baby girl is already 3 months old.  She is growing so fast and nothing like my first baby.  She is very content, smiles often and loves to watch her big brother.  She does pretty good sleeping at night but there is still room for lots of improvement in this area.  Of course eating and watching Isaac are her two favorite things in life.  We are so blessed to have such a precious baby girl!

Sand Box fun with Daddy!

It is hard to tell you has more fun in the sand box lately; Seth or Isaac.  They have now started to incorporate the hose into the box, making lakes and rivers.  Often you will see Isaac doing his own thing and Seth his.  I don't ask too many questions, this time I just snapped a few pics!

Brother/Sister Love

The bond between Isaac and Addy continues to grow.  With the start and end of each day Isaac always tells Addy how happy he is to see her and that he loves her.  It is so cute, and I must say I look forward to it each and every time.  Addy spends her entire day watching his every move, and is getting so close to rolling over just because she strains so much to see him.  He keeps us all entertained throughout the day but most of all his sister!  If Addy is sad, or crabby often you will hear Isaac saying, "what wrong baby, I know baby I know."  As if he can relate to whatever situation she is sad about.  I can only hope that this bond becomes stronger with age because it is very evident now that the two truly do love each other.

Escaping the heat

On Sunday we decided to head to the MOA Sea Life exhibit in an attempt to escape the heat and keep Isaac busy.  He had a great time touching fish, walking around and telling us stories about the various fish that he saw.  Many of the fish were tired, hungry, crabby, sleeping and of course the famous too little which is what he always says Addy is.  It was fun to hear him make up things and really look and enjoy what he was seeing.  Grandma and Grandpa Miller came along for the adventure and Isaac was in 7th heaven getting so much special attention.  Grandma took Isaac to the gift shop to get a special toy and He returned with a scuba guy and stuffed fish.  He was thrilled with his new toys and talked to them, made them talk to Addy and told Addy how much they loved her the whole way home.  It was so sweet!
Addy finally woke up and joined the party
