July 4th

Happy Independence Day!!!  Not being able to find any citywide celebrations and/or parades close to us we decided we needed to make our own fun.  We headed to polar lakes park in White Bear Township.  It was a very cute park, the kids had fun climbing on all the equipment and they even had an igloo equipped with a slide out.  There were lots of nets for playing soccer, trails to ride bike and the best part we had the whole park to ourselves!!!  We thought for sure it would be busy but not at this park.  Nobody but the 5 of us.  Thanks Em for coming with and adding to the memories!
Almost forgot, we started out of the day with sparklers from Papa

Later in the day we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Miller's for a bonfire/cook out.  It was lots of fun and Auntie Louise even put on a little firework show for the kids.  It was a GREAT, HOT day!!

looks like Seth is chasing them all with this HUGE branch.  He really was just tending the fire while the rest were playing with the kids.
