Addy turned Three!!

It doesn't seem possible but it is true that Addy turned three.  She remains a little spit fire, big attitude and is hilarious to say the least.  I have been told this maybe some genes from her mother shining through.  Not sure how I feel about that at the moment, but none the less she remains AMAZING!!

We had a princess party for Addy.  She LOVED it!  A big thank you to all who came and helped to make her day so special.  She will forever be our little princess!!!

Circus!

We took the kids to the circus this past weekend.  It was a blast!  I highly recommend this event for families with kids around the same age or older.  It was something that Seth and I also enjoyed seeing.  The stunts and animal tricks were both great.  I would not take younger kids, it is long and loud!!!

Our kids LOVED it.  Here are some pictures of the circus and our fun activities we did before hand in preparation.

roll a clown game.  This is an awesome way to help kids learn how to draw.  My kids love rolling dice.

Dance/Dinner party

This week Isaac came up with the idea that he was going to have a dance party.  He started inviting guests Unofficially before I could even say yes or no.  To be honest, I didn't really want too with Addy's b-day party next weekend.  However, I am super happy that I allowed him to do this.  He planned every detail: He made a list of games he wanted to play, he planned the menu, he called to invite his guests, he cleaned the house twice, he set the table, made name cards, etc.  He did it ALL!!!  He asked for my help of course with details, and the food preparation but he knew what he wanted to do and what needed to be done and just did it without being asked.

Can you say PROUD!  Maybe a future party planner he might be...I would LOVE that!

This event was hard for me.  It was hard to not have control of the situation, the menu, drinks etc.  It was hard to serve guests orange and apple slices but I did it, and for that I am proud of me too. :)

The guests that came were AMAZING.  They participated in every game and danced their hearts out.  Isaac was very particular with his guest list, only wanting to invite 5 people but only 4 could make it.  We missed you Papa!!!  Maybe the next party he plans will be bigger...I already heard talk of the next and the first only ended a short while ago.

It was amazing to see my tender hearted little boy being shown so much support by his family and executing such an amazing event at only 5!  Most of the games he invented all on his own...they were great and creative!

I love you Isaac, and I can't wait to help you plan the next party.
(start training now future guests...the next one will be outside....lots more space to run)

7 am started making the cake

We want to be like Nana

The other major theme to our spring break was puzzles.  We did A LOT of puzzles.  Anybody who knows me knows that I don't like puzzles.  Of course what I like to do never matters anymore.  Our Nana (my mom) as the kids call her was also sick all of break.  This was very hard on the kids who are used to lots of visits from her.  One day when I sent them to their rooms for a game to play, they came back with this puzzle and the words,"we want to be like Nana."
Nana, does puzzles at her house, and leaves them set up on a table for days and days and days as the children proceeded to tell me.  We want to do that too.

SO: The puzzle work began.  We started a 200 piece puzzle.  I thought for sure they would be bored in 2 min and ready to move on.  Nope!  When it was bed time they reminded me not to touch it, and in the morning we finished it.  We then proceeded to do multiple other puzzles as the week went on.

This puzzle was used and probably over 20 years old.  Only missing one piece not bad

Look Nana we are like you!!!!
