Choo Choo...All aboard the pumpkin train

Isaac has been waiting since he departed the pumpkin train a year ago to ride again.  This past weekend was the time and both kids had a blast.  This was Addy's first experience on the pumpkin train but one wouldn't know with how well she did.  They had a blast with all the activities and picked out some pretty huge pumpkins, that now we need to turn into jack-o-laterns.  Isaac is so excited for Halloween this year, and when asked what he is going to be his answer is,"Arrrgh....Pirate (complete with hand motions).

Oh Addy!!

I think the title of this blog post says it all.  Trying to capture all of her smiles, and crazy faces is just not even possible.  Here are just a couple from the past couple of days.  We LOVE her soooooo much!!
"mom really, I just woke up and am waiting for Barney."

Playing the "lion" game with mommy while Isaac was at school

so excited about the "lion" game.

I was desperate beyond desperate to be able to peel a potato without her  throwing a fit.  This kept her busy!!

Mom, I am just eating all by myself.  No big deal!!

Please, no more pictures!!

Just let a girl eat!

An afternoon of decorating for Halloween

I wanted to rake up some leaves...The kids wanted to jump in the leaves.  My compromise...jump and then put the leaves in pumpkin bags.  Isaac had a blast with this activity...pretty sure we were outside for at least three hours.  After Isaac was done with the leaves in our yard...He decided to get his wagon and get the leaves out of the street to finish filling the second pumpkin.  (Trust me there were plenty left in our own yard).

Addy and Isaac worked hard together hauling leaves back from the corner and put them into the pumpkin.  Addy got a little tired so Isaac hauled her in the wagon too.  Both so cute...and hard workers!!

1st Fire of the season

At Isaac's marathon this past weekend he saw some schools having bonfires.  This of course sparked quite a bit of interest in having a fire at our house.  About an hour after being home from the marathon, he talked his Daddy into making him a fire.  It was the perfect timing since Addy was napping.  Everybody was HAPPY!

Not sure what he liked more...the fire or being a firefighter!

St. Odilia School Marathon

For those who not aware for private schools their biggest fundraiser of the year is their all school marathon.  This year it was held at central park in Roseville around Lake Bennet.  It was sooooooo cold, but worth all of our layers for the fun!  This was very exciting for our family and brought back many memories of the days when I participated in my own private school marathon at St. Jerome.  Of course the highlight for Isaac was probably the donuts...but all the kids seemed to be having a great time.  We were able to meet up with a few of Isaac's classmates and friends and the boys had a great time chasing, running and participating in the rainbow parade lead by the school principal.
A big thank you to Nana, Papa and Em for sponsoring Isaac in the marathon.  He is still able to collect pledges so if you would like to donate to the school just let us know.
Blake and Isaac decided they wanted to run

They slowed down the pace for a picture and decided to hold hands.  It was sooooo cute!!

Buddies!!!  Blake, Isaac and Alistair

All three holding hands, and making a "train"

Both Blake and Isaac got two donuts...one before the parade and one after!!

Isaac also rode his bike around the lake for a lap!!

Welcome Home Daddy!

As our last adventure for the week, I decided we would head to the airport to pick up Daddy!!  Isaac was very excited to see all the planes and wait for Daddy to land!  I was excited that I navigated parking and finding of the correct terminal and baggage claim by myself!  We even made a welcome home sign,(which Addy ripped about two min. before Seth arrived), but as I said Daddy loved it anyways.  The reunion went well, of course both kids fighting for Daddy's attention.  Mommy couldn't even buckle them up in their car seats, both needed Daddy to do it.  Fine by me...Happy to sit back.  I think I deserve it :)

At home...Addy wanted Daddy to read her story and Isaac wanted Daddy to play video game.  Mommy...did nothing!

Happy 18 months!

Addy is 18 months old already...so hard to believe!  She is the most spirited, happy, and precious baby girl. All three of these traits come out in this mini photo shoot.  When she was really little, we used to have mini photo shoots, always smiling at the camera.  Now I am lucky if I get one or two shots before she thinks she needs to hold the camera to look at the pretty girl!!
all smiles!

Mommy is so funny!
